Clinical Supervision

Support, reflection and honest conversation for your clinical work.

In supervision with me, you’ll find a relational space where the connection between us guides the work to the benefit of your clients. It’s a place for real learning, honest reflection and steady professional growth. My style is warm, engaged and responsive. If you need clarity or support, you’ll get it; if a gentle challenge is what’s called for, that’s there too. And when quiet holding is what’s needed, we can stay with that.

I’ll meet you developmentally, recognising that people grow at different rhythms and that confidence shifts as the work does. Rather than walking you through a fixed model, we’ll shape the structure and pace around where you are. Some sessions may feel clear and steady; others may open into shared thinking or deeper process work—always keeping an eye on where you’re moving next.

Our work will blend reflection with practice. You’ll have room to explore your internal responses, the relational dynamics you meet, and the emotional weight of your client work. We’ll also look at clinical decisions, ethical questions and the growth of your own therapeutic voice. I’ll be transparent about my thinking—uncertainties included—so we can make sense of things together.

Most importantly, you can show up as you are. Whether you arrive grounded, stretched or somewhere wobbly in between, we’ll use that as part of the process rather than something to work around. Supervision becomes a steady, attuned base where you can reflect, grow and challenge yourself.

I use the Seven-Eyed Model as a flexible way of exploring your client work, your inner process, the dynamics between us and the wider systems you’re working within. It offers clear perspectives without boxing us in, keeping the relationship at the centre.

Before training as a counsellor, I spent over 30 years in public service and hold a Level 5 Certificate in Public Service Management. That background gives me a grounded, encouraging style—clear standards, steady support and a practical feel for leadership, risk, ethics and reflective practice. All of this helps me support you to stay thoughtful, confident and aligned with your values.

If you’d like to talk about working together, just drop me a message.
